New Paint job, (we hope you like our colour choice.) New signs, new lighting and of course our fantastic Royal Crest has been refurbished and is looking great. We look forward to seeing you throughout the warmer weather on the decking and inside the pub. Our menu has had a couple of tweaks too but we will still be serving our homemade menu items with locally sourced produce as we always have.

We, as a small team have been devastated by this loss but we want to carry on, not just for him but also for all of you.
It is with great pleasure that I can tell you that Gareth has re-joined us after a near 6 year absence and will take the role of General Manager @ The Prince.
He, along with Wesley and Sophie will be running the ship and keeping you all fed and watered .

Firstly, we are still following the guidelines! That means, you MUST complete Track & Trace registration on each and every visit to us. Don't moan, you all did it last year when you came back in the summer of 2020!

Our Kitchen times will be going back to Lunchtime Service and Evening Service, so, from 17th may we won't be serving food in the afternoons Monday to Thursday. We do have a great selection of bar snacks, and Pork Scratchings will be returning very soon.

It is with enormous joy that we will be reopening our B&B Accommodation.. so, if you're local and have friends and family that you are desperate to see but can't put them up at home, we are on your doorstep! We can do Room Only rates so your loved ones can have breakfast with you .

For those of you from further afield, we are a great spot for a UK Staycation with easy access to The New Forest, Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester via M27, M3, and over to Isle of Wight on the Red Funnel from Southampton
